Scorpion EXO 1100 is Go
I know the Scorpion EXO 1100 helmet has been out for a few months now, but you know how it is..
If we can’t obtain it and sell it at a crazy price, we’re just not going to bother.
That said, the Scorpion EXO 1100s are in stock. They look a lot like the EXO 1000 of which this lid replaced but they’re super lightweight. A list of features for ya:
- Fiberlass/Kevlar TCT - Thermodynamic Composite Technology.
- AirFit adjustable cheek pads
- Speedview internal retractable sun visor
- EverClear no-fog faceshield
- KwickWick2 moisture-wicking liner and cheek pads
- Adjustable and indexed vents with a very high-flow vent system
- Breath deflector
- ECE / DOT certified
They don’t list it as a feature and I already mentioned it, but this helmet is LIGHTWEIGHT! So much so that the EXO 500 I purchased this year (great helmet too, btw) might get “accidentally” dropped on the garage floor so I can replace it with this lid.
Taking a gander at the pic above, 0.2 lbs may not seem like a lot of difference in weight, but it’s an obvious difference that you can feel when wearing these lids. In fact, you can tell how much lighter the 1100 is over the 500 as soon as you pick it up!
We did a quick footage of the unboxing as soon as we got them, but with the holidays looming, we were only able to share all this now.
