2011 Open House Recap
This past Saturday, we had ourselves a little party at our Smithville, Missouri Motorcycle Closeouts location!
Celebrating 9 years of having helped thousands become a little safer and stylish at the same time, we decided to throw a little party.
There were giveaways, door prizes and even a raffle to raise money for breast cancer research. IIRC, we gave out nearly $2500 in prizes and raised over $700, which wasn’t too shabby. We’re already working on next year’s plan so we can raise much, much more.
One of the charities that we were raising money for was Power of Pink, an organization that goes beyond the hunt for a cure and handles the oft forgotten parts that come with treatment of the disease in existing patients: Groceries. Transportation. Comfort.
Be sure to check out their organization; you don’t have to wait until Breast Cancer Awareness month to lend to the cause.
